Affordable Rolex Watches on the Market

As the demand for watches continues to grow, new timepiece enthusiasts are faced with the prospect that owning a Rolex will cost quite a significant amount of their savings. But watch authority Watchfinder & Co. recently put together a list of three affordable Rolex models on the market.

Leading the list is Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust 17014, a unique model in the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer history. Despite featuring the dreaded quartz material that almost ruined the watch industry, the watch features a calibre 5035 movement which has been designed by Rolex to meet a higher standard than its contemporary mechanical engines. With its severe angle defined integrated bracelet, the Oysterquartz Datejust will run you less than £3,500 GBP (approximately $4,300 USD).

Priced at £6,000 GBP (approximately $7,400 USD), the Rolex Explorer II 16570 in its white dial variant has been a viable option for those looking for something that is stainless steel, sports and with a 40mm diameter. Some unique points about the watch include its fixed brushed bezel, skinny Twinlock crown and uncommon black markers and hands.

Finally, like the previous mentioned Explorer II the Rolex Air-King 14000M features a stainless steel construction and sports leaning but sized a touch smaller in diameter. Priced at £4,000 (approximately $4,900 USD), the 34mm size has helped the Air-King remain an affordable vintage stainless-steel Rolex. For those who aren’t into large watches and are looking for something more subtle on the wrist, the smaller option is a perfect choice.
